Why does this surprise anyone? The GOP has been doing anything they can to keep the numbers hidden and to misrepresent many deaths as pneumonia.
Simply taking and average of the last three years to this date of deaths and comparing it to this years deaths would give us a much closer to TRUE number of covid-19 deaths. Why the media or DNC has no done this confounds me. -
I'm not hearing any comments from Trump/republican supporters. What's up? Just another republican fu** up but if had been a democrat, the howing would never stop. Evidently what's good for the goose is not good for the gander.
-
This is really low. I don't even know what to say. Is all this just for trump? Something is very wrong.
-
Crap's sake. It's almost like the Republicans are looking for stuff to do wrong.
-
They once said that politics is a dirty game...in truth, it is the people in politics who play dirty...and Republicans wrote that playbook...
-
Wow, it's amazing how far the GOP has sunk. They've turned into some weird sub-human species
-
I was going to say something stupid like why are they quarantining over a hoax. But then decided not to.
-
donnie claims he has been tested more than once and tested negative. We all hope so. Would he be honest enough to tell us if he tested positive ?
-
Hung drawn and quartered. The only punishment for these traitors.
-
People, I really think American citizens are starting to see the writing on the wall. Republicans cannot be trusted and it couldn't be more obvious than it is today.
-
The "appropriate time" to reveal it is 2 seconds after you find out about it.
-
I have no problem with foolish GOP members contracting Covid 19. It's called thinning the herd and improving the gene pool. A sort of self selection.
-
PA has a very heavily gerrymandered GOP legislature and this behavior is the inevitable result. These people consider themselves accountable to nobody but the lobbyists who pay their bills and buy their re election.
-
"Out of respect for my family, and those who I may have exposed, I chose to keep my positive case private," Lewis said. Where was his respect for his colleagues and their families and everyone else they came in contact with during that time period? I guess he thinks it's every man for himself and to hell with everyone else.
-
I totally get why repubs want to rush to open and just test the waters to see if this isn't as bad as they say, but if you're going to do that at least give people the correct data so they can go out in the world and make smart, cautious decisions.
-
How do these people become so broken?
-
You just can't trust those pesky republicans.
-
At this point, the GOP simply can't sink any lower.
-
""Out of respect for my family, and those who I may have exposed, I chose
to keep my positive case private," he said in a statement."That statement does not make sense.
-
Selfish rabid republican jerk exposing others to the virus and then lying about the reason why he did it. Republicans just CANNOT tell the truth. Slick liar spreader talking about family makes people sick and then lies it all away like a common criminal.
But his big boss trump will excuse his lies and crime, will make up a fake lie excuse for the jerk and then attack anybody who complained about it.
These trump republicans are bordering on becoming domestic terrorist. -
Wow. This Republican knew he was infected, yet he decided not to inform *everyone* working in the Capitol he was infected? How irresponsible can you get?! I'm sure every business out there would want to know if an employee has been infected so other employees can be tested. Unless the person did not know, one should *not* keep such knowledge private, given it concerns *everyone* where you work.
It feels like this Republican want to infect everyone else. Why bother to continue acting like nothing was wrong? (roll eyes)

These are the same people who want to end the shut downs and pretend the pandemic is over.
Clearly the GOP at all levels are putting money ahead of people. Their strategy will cause a second wave and that will sink our economy and send it right down the tubes. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. -
And THEIR leader? He's very busy today going after Twitter for personal reasons. Chaos continues daily and ever since the bully came into office. His tan must make him feel good throughout this pandemic. SMH
-
I'm surprised that Rep. Andrew Lewis got tested for the virus. I figured he would believe the pandemic was a hoax created by the Democrats and the Fake news media.
-
'... "Out of respect for my family, and those who I may have exposed, I chose to keep my positive case private," he said in a statement....'
Lesson Learned: Contact tracing only works when those infected are cooperative. What a mope... -
Need to find better candidates for public office. There are way too many that aren't worthy of the trust they should possess.
-
"Lewis said that he chose to reveal his diagnosis this week because he felt it was the appropriate time.
"Out of respect for my family, and those who I may have exposed, I chose
to keep my positive case private," he said in a statement."But he has NO respect for his Democratic colleagues across the aisle and their family's health and welfare. Only his own. Another example of the GOP's ghoulish experiments in human sacrifice and the new "Democrats must die" ideology that has taken root within the GOP.
-
"Out of respect for my family, and those who I may have exposed, I chose to keep my positive case private," he said in a statement.
You have NO respect for anyone you were around if you kept your positive case private. It is not PRIVATE if you exposed other people. How can you be an elected official and be that stupid.
-
The party I used to love has died and given up everything it stands for to lick Trump's boots! Leaving me without a party like so many others. That party is OVER and has aligned itself with everything that conservatives fought so hard against. Now the GOP is synonymous with liars, cheats, adulterers, law breakers and yes men. DISGUSTING!
-
Those GOP may have broken Pennsylvania infectious disease laws. Democrats have ask the AG to investigate
-
"If he truly cared about the well-being of those he may have exposed, he should have been transparent from day one...”
...
His President doesn’t, so why should he? /s -
Gee, it’s almost as if everyone *had been wearing a face mask* this wouldn’t be so such a problem....
-
Wow! the citizens of his district should ask for his resignation, or start a recall petition. That's despicable what he did. Was his family infected?
-
How many of these cases can be prevented by following guidelines to wear a mask and social distance? I guess you can be a trump sheeple and take your chances.
-
It’s so funny how the GOP struggles to hide the fact that they have COVID all the time. They don’t want anyone to know they have it.
-
One would think that ALL legislators would be notified. God almighty!
-
That’s Pennsyltucky for you.
-
the GOP is really just showing extremely bad behavior.
-
Typical GOP representatives at their finest.
The guy in that picture reminds me of somebody. It is either the shyster defense lawyer who defended a client who was convicted of two counts of assault (one against me) in court, or that car salesman who sold me a troublesome Nissan Pickup at the last dealership I ever bought a car from.
Who elects these damned people?
