Unemployment numbers are a Democrat hoax too

Over 40 million Americans have filed for jobless claims.

Is Trump or the GOP bothered? Nope.

All they care about now is
    How to deflect?
How to look the other way when over 100K have died?

If there's one administration that can run the country into the ground - this is it.
Trump is just incompetent, and inept...NOT QUALIFIED for the job.

Seems like the stock market is betting on all this going away like a miracle. Just as delusional as Trump.

Per WaPo: White House is refusing to release economic projections that estimate the full extent of the forthcoming economic downturn... These mopes are toast in Nov, and they know it.

Trump does not care about people who lose their jobs. Neither does many members of Congress. They will give money to businesses, but not to the general public. And I think that is causing more trouble. Trump and Congress are incompetent. I blame Trump since he is not leading. All the state governors are having to figure out how to deal with our problems since Trump is too lazy to do his job.

I plan to vote for Joe Biden since I am dissatisifed with the status quo in America. The economy is in bad shape under Trump and unemployment is high under Trump.

What they should have done for stimulus is give everyone debit cards that have a short expiration date. They optionally could be coded up to work based on nearby zip codes, so the money is spent locally. Then let business compete to earn it.

Businesses respond to consumer demand. They don't want small business loans. That does not create demand.

This just shows you that businesses were fragile anyway. All small businesses should have hoarded cash and assets for crises. We have weather crises all the time, and people prepare for it with generators and readytogo backpacks.
I'm sorry for the small business. I live around many of them, but always be prepared. A downturn was coming anyway.

“Trump to announce executive order against social media companies“
    That oughta fix it!

  • Technophile Returns

Wall Street disconnected from reality as usual thanks to the feds keeping them afloat. Once the bankruptcies, evictions, and foreclosures start I can imagine investors will start to go into a panic

#1 - Congress MUST expand Food stamps to cover the unemployed.
#2 - the Big corps like Boeing are starting to lay off vs. small businesses. Tech companies are making adjustments and furloughing employees. More unemployed coming.
#3 - Small businesses that open are not opening up to capacity (good!) but to safety. That means fewer workers.
    #4 - more stimulus money.
#5 - Whoever succeeds Trump, even if it's Trump, is in a world of DEFICIT & DEBT HURT. I wouldn't want to be that person.

What do we expect after shutting the US down for 90 days?? This is expected folks (and only temporary).

Let's get back to work and turn this around. We'll need to help India and Africa now with supplies
Thank you Lord for blessing America in so many ways!

We have only about 160 million workers. The other half of our population is too young, too old,
too sick, in jail. Forty million is 25% unemployment.

  • really?

But the market is booming, everything is fine. trump said so yesterday. /s
