as we mourn the loss of a police officer, let us not forget the lives of all of the innocent people who were killed at the hands of a police officer. their lives mattered too
-
It's not just ordinary citizens, but law-enforcement officers as well that have to suffer from so many firearms being so easily available. I'm not saying that's the cause of domestic violence, but it sure does exacerbate the problem. RIP Deputy Mike Stephens.

How awful for the police officer and his family. Just terrible.

I feel BAD for ANY innocent person shot and killed!...a person doing their job or a person just being innocent without a gun and no aggression!...I feel BAD for innocent people being MURDERED!
-
I'm glad the shooter is dead.
-
So sad. Can't imagine how bad it would be if we didn't have the men and women in blue. Can't imagine why anyone would want to be one of them.
-
Hope the perp is no longer of this world. Rest easy brave officer.
-
Normally a very quiet place. Great tourist location. I suspect a domestic dispute.
-
Condolences to the officer's family, friends and fellow officers. LE are all that stands between us and the criminals. I'm grateful for those who choose to serve as LE

sad to see every time someone's life is ended by a callous murderer. won't be surprising to hear he was out on parole or something else the gov't did/didn't do that should have prevented this from happening

Man I hate to hear this. RIP

Another police offer shot and killed. Sad. Law enforcement is one of the most dangerous jobs there is. I could never do it, but I am thankful to the people who can.
RIP.
Another hero lost. May he rest in peace.
