Sentai Filmworks here in the US has started a GoFundMe to help those affected. 1.4 million has been raised already.

This I’ve always feared might happen here. 10 – 12 people in a mass shooting vs, 30 or so in a fire. Japan also has a higher suicide rate than we do. If someone wants to kill themselves or others they will find a way.

My son is a HUGE anime and manga fan. He's autistic and knows about everything there is to know on the subject. Sigh. Will be hard finding a easy way to break this to him before he hears about it online. Damn! And he was in a good mood this morning......

What do you know? It doesn't take an assault rifle or a pistol for a crazy to mass kill. Fire, bombs, trucks and cars can do a good job too. And you don't have to pass a background check, buy expensive guns & ammunition plus putting up with the anti-gun people.
