When these headline seekers start talking about a Bill Responsibilities, then we might take their whinh about more Rights seriously. There can be no Rights without Responsibility

When you are spending other people's money the sky is the limit. For my vote I want a free car.

Silly people say things without the knowledge of what they are saying!

Typical Dem politician pandering to typical Dem voters. It would be hillaryous if she wasn't serious!

Don't have them if you can't afford them or don't plan on raising them.

We are living in a time in which the government can snatch children from their parents for little or no reason if they believe doing so is in the child's best interest, in which wives can abandon their husbands with no-fault for "irreconcilable differences" and then force them to pay child support, in which parents have little ability to control whether or not public schools teach their children that there is no such thing as a boy or a girl, and in which marriage has been subverted into a union of two people of the same sex, and yet, somehow, when this woman hears the words "family bill of rights" the first thing that comes to her mind is forcing employers to pay their employees maternity leave? Madness...

It takes a village... but the village shouldn't have to pay and pay and pay for someone's choice to procreate.

  • TruthHurts

Funny that this "Family Act" only applies to people with children. Newsflash you don't need to reproduce to have a family and it isn't everyone's responsiblity to have to cater to your lifestyle choices and pay for them.

Affordable day care would really help single parents be able to work.

This is one of those proposals that needs to be put in the hopper to be fine tuned for the final platform.

This makes me laugh. She is pushing a "Family Bill of Rights." When from the other side of her face she is undermining our rights as parents and families with taking away our controls and protections. She will not be elected as a VP the only reason she is in the senate is because of NYC the rest of New York does not have the people to overcome NYC thus the reason King Cuomo can announce his victory before any of the upstate polls close.

I wonder which candidate will pick this up once she drops out?

Another one that will fall quickly in the race and drop out. Grandiose plans that cost billions and billions won't appeal to the average voter. Remember the old line, "IT IS THE ECONOMY, STUPID. " Talk about how to raise wages and not how to provide more tax-funded projects and programs. We have too many already that waste $$ with few results. Especially the ones that provide $$$ for people in other countries before our own citizens.

I didn't realize she was still running for Biden's VP.

    That is news.

  • SouthlandRover

Totally forgot she was even running.

  • IndependentThinking

And how much is this going to cost?

  • justanewsreader

Pet the calf to catch the cow, or is it: pet the cow to catch the calf? Too broad ranging and too ambitious to be taken as a serious plan in this election environment.

A company should not have to pay for your life choice. If you want kids and need to take time off, there's no reason your employer should have to pay for that. I suppose next they'll want laws requiring an employer to give raises to everyone that has a child, too, since it will cost more to raise that additional child.
