What happened to Amazon's plans for drone delivery service?

So is the plan that a delivery truck will park nearby and these robots would deliver the packages in a close area or is the plan for these robots to be traveling across town. I would imagine the former.

Amazon using robots... no thanks... a company this big, making that much money can employ humans. And pay them better.
