Would you buy this excuse from your teenager? It is hard to believe they remotely think this is a plausible rationalization.
-
I wonder if he took lessons from this guy
I haven't committed a crime; what I did was fail to comply with the law. -- David Dinkins

Yes, and when a lack of consistency is made with the intent to deceive, we call that lying.
-
He wasn't lying, it was just a "lack of consistency"....OMG...will someone please inform that nitwit that a lack of consistency in one's tale...is in fact lying!!! Are these clowns getting advise from Rudy?

I don't think Manafort is showing a "lack of consistency" at all. He lies consistently, and his actions are consistent with the values of the current administration -- cheat and lie to feather your own nest.
I know lawyers are supposed to defend their clients as best they can, but jeez, man -- this is getting ridiculous.
-
Yeah, right, and I guess Jeffrey Dahmer was just troubled by a little dietary inconsistency.
-
How can any self-respecting lawyer represent any of these people? Oh wait, the answer is in the question....
-
What's the big deal? Just a lack of consistency tell alternative facts. Perfectly normal; business as usual. Paulie's gonna be in the penitentiary for a long time. But at least he'll have plenty of company.
-
"........his alleged lies merely show a 'lack of consistency'....."!? What a bunch of lawyereze!~Lies are lies!!
-
"I wasn't lying. I was just being inconsistent with the truth." -- Paul Manafort.
"I lied for Trump." -- Rudy Giuliani.
-
Ah yes, the inconsistent truth, the refuge of criminals the world over. Already headed to prison from the Virginia case, poor Paulie will be looking through bars for the rest of his life. #TiredOfWinningYet?
-
What a conundrum. A lawyer telling me what constitutes a lie or not. Should I believe him based on his lying expertise, or is he lying? My head hurts.
-
Traitor Manafort, is the one who introduced Trump, to Mike Pence and told him he should choose Pence for his VP. Ed Pence, Mike's brother is an executive with Cummins Inc, that make engines for the Russian military and he has used many of the same lobbyists connected to Manafort..Mueller, is also, investigating Mike Pence to determine if he is compromised by the connection..No collusion there../s
-
Manafort knows Putin can poison people and it's obvious he's scared to death.
-
What's the matter? Manafort doesn't know how to grin and endlessly repeat "I dohhn't r'call" in his best Jeff Sessions drawl?
-
"Hey, come on. My client lies so much that you can't expect him to remember all of them."
-
I honestly thought that the link to this article was going to bring me to a spoof website or something
.....
Holy crap is this getting ridiculous at this point. Anyone with any
common sense knows that they are all guilty as sin itself. What is
next? Russia actually did hack MI, WI, and PA and changed votes? that
is about the only thing left not under investigation (that we know of
anyway) -
Manafort receives $125,000 payment from a ‘well-funded political action committee’ that received those funds from Konstantin Kilimik for the polling data? Got it!
-
Lies are so rarely consistent, that's why they conduct multiple statements over time. Not rocket science.
-
His "alleged lies" lack consistency??? Yes...they are not consistent with the truth. Lesson to take away....Remember what you lied about so you can be consistent, OMG these people are all insane.
A " lack of consistency " also know as a lie.
