Who? I'm sure he's a great guy but who the heck is he? Just seems odd that he would run

  • OneMoreYes33a

Oh man! I don't want to vote Republican.

  • running33

He may be a great guy, but announcing you're running for president right before your book comes out seems rather self-serving.
I kinda wish he'd focus on being a mayor, seeing as that's his job. But I could say that about all the elected officials who announce they're running for president then are never in their state to do what they're elected to do.

America seems pretty gay so this guy as president would be perfect! Can't be worse than old Trumpkin Little

It's a good time to be in the exploratory committee business. Lots of money to be made.

Who cares? Seriously, it's ridiculous. Is it really newsworthy who the guy sleeps with? The only question that matters is whether or not he's qualified for the job...

Openly gay mayor from the city that gives us Notre Dame University? Interesting.

  • justanewsreader

Not a prayer, not a chance. Just using this to make his name and put it on the street. Actually, name too difficult to pronounce. Can you imagine the Turtle trying to sputter that out in a hateful speech? He had enough trouble to keep from drooling down his chin when talking about Obama - that "black man."

He is not The One, but he'll liven things up.

Mayor to president, that's quite the jump.

I think we have had enough people with little experience as president, thank you.

He should work his way up to at least a state level political office before trying for the "big one".

I find it interesting that trump has lowered the bar so much that a candidates past, regardless of what voters may think of it, should have absolutely no bearing on their ability to run for POTUS. NONE. Stormy, Cohen, or Manafort could run for POTUS in 2020!
Republicans have lost the ability to feign outrage over anything.

Wouldn't it be nice have president who doesn't look and act like he/she screams "GET OFF MY LAWN !!"

  • TryNot2Get2Technical

Nope. Too many contenders who are more willing to play dirty.

Uphill all the way, but good luck to him. I like that he is so young. I look forward to hearing more of his thoughts and ideas.

A white male for the 2020 Democratic Presidential nominee? Sorry....not going to happen.

I'm thinking of running for President, too. I'll soon have my money-raising web site up to fund my campaign. I'll let you all know when it is up and running.
