They'll rebuild, but it's definitely not going to be the same. I think a fair number of people will take their insurance money and either move to Chico or Oroville. The thing that attracted a lot of people to Paradise in the first place was the land prices were fairly cheap, but with as many old people as there were living up there, I don't think many of them will have the desire to start again.

Guess they better let some of those brown people in to help with the resulting labor shortages.

Please do not rebuild on the same site. It is sacred hallowed ground where people died. Find a new location that won't have such horrific memories for the families and friends of those that were lost.
 
Stop building in places like this!
