Of course this was a PR stunt. Anyone who had been following this cave rescue story from the beginning could have told Elon Musk that his mini submarine wouldn't work because the narrowest passage also had a bend in it where divers had to take off their tanks just to get through. No way the minisub could have bent itself in half to perform that feat.

A customer of a Tom Yum Goong vendor at the studio where the mock cave rescue was filmed is suing the vendor for putting excessive lemongrass in the soup.

Clearly too much Musk can be unpleasant.

His rescue tube was only 15 inches in diameter and would be claustrophobic to a child, besides it wouldn't fit through the narrowest passage way. His character assassination is out of place.

Have you noticed that when theres an E Musk story running theres always the 'near to God' and 'saving the planet' type crap adulatory remarks ??? As if some sort of PR resource is knocked into gear to ramp his profile. No, he's not saving the planet.

So let's just take the counter factual for a moment. What if he provides evidence that this person is a Pedo. Under california law, 12 yo is, well pedophilia. To win the $75,000 which is pretty low as to assume Elon Musk will settle for such a low number is questionable. He could of went for millions and have likely won still. No this guy is hoping Mr Musk settles before a court ruling as then the guy has to hand over all his personal computers and anything that can prove he is not in fact a pedophile. The guy had to make a lawsuit to avoid questions now he's hoping there won't be no more. If Elon Musk is the genius he is then he won't settle and out this thing for what it truly is.

When Musk loses in court that will hurt him alot more than the monetary award. Both his ego, and possibly his position at Tesla.

Such a strange story. I really like Musk and all he's doing for technology, but this is just weird.
