Due to neglect and mismanagement of the train infrastructure in New York's Penn Station, thousands of Chuck's constituents are going to go through the next several weeks with none or very limited service. It is expected to be so bad that the Metropolitan Transit Authority is urging business that have employees commuting in from Long Island to stay home. This is a VERY big issue in New York. I understand that Shumer hates Trump and will look to get in the gutter with him any chance he gets, but one would think he could spend his time and creativity better alleviating this source of misery for the people he works for and pays his salary. Why wasn't he advocating fixing this mess years ago, when it could have been done on a less disruptive basis?
