For decades the NBA paid the Finals teams players by how many games the finals went. 7 games paid more than 4. So, teams would sand bag the first 4. Then play a "somewhat honest," 2 out of 3 for the championship. When Cleveland was down 3-1, It was a similar situation to the Atlanta Braves vs Yankees World Series in 1994 (?). Atlanta up 3-zip, and winning by large margins. The odds in Vegas went massive for Atlanta. But, strange money came in on Yankees. The Yankees won and Ted Turner suspected a thrown series and fired just about everyone on the team except the coach and Chipper Jones. I told friends the odds were moving in Vegas just like for the Braves. Therefore, don't be surprised if the fix is in for Cleveland to at least win a few more games.

After watching the final game, I don't believe game 7 was fixed. Just too many honest emotions and hard play. But, there could have been some fixing in game 6 or earlier ones to set up the match. Regardless: congrats to Cleveland. You deserved this one.

Last night, they made a terrible call against Steph Curry. But late in the game when it was coming down to the wire and every point counted, Iguadala got all hand on LeBron and was credited with a block, wiping out what would have been a scoring play. Officiating a game like NBA basketball is hard. But what would be even harder is to manipulate it enough to change the outcome the way you want it to be in a 7 game series without it being blatantly obvious.

I was a fan of Steph and Ayesha Curry, but am completely disappointed and embarrassed by her sour grapes. So did the NBA fix the loss of the Warriors again in game 7, in their own house??? The NBA is like Professional Wrestling.. LeBron almost travels or walks every lay up he takes. He takes 4 steps right in front of them and they do not call the travel. what a joke!

It's easy to understand fixing in WWE or some competition involving two people and an official but with so many players and officials how many would have to be paid off to ensure the desired outcome--I wish someone would work that one out.....
