Considering all the good that Iron Man has done for the USA, this is the least we can do.

I guess I can't put the guy down for getting a pardon buy anyone who remembers him knows he put Lindsey Lohan and Paris Hilton etc. to shame in his heyday - and ALWAYS got away with it! He was worse than Bobby Brown and Whitney! And every time the judge seemed to be starstruck. It really was unbelievable but hey, more power to him.

Anyone wanna bet me how many guys named Robert, Downey, or Junior will be let go in the next few months, maybe even a few guys named Iron or Man

"Though this doesn't mean Downey's criminal record is now scrubbed clean,
the Oscar-nominated actor can now have other privileges, such as the
    right to vote."

Hey ABC news, You do NOT need a pardon in California to vote!

Once someone is discharged from parole in California, they can vote. You would think you college educated people would know this, or at least be able to fact check it.

Being pardoned, means he could actually become a parole officer in the State of California, and carry a firearm.

I never did understand what being able to vote, has to do with being a criminal or ex-criminal?

The face of white privilege in America.

He could have voted without a pardon. Voting rights are restored when your sentence is complete and you are off of probation. Not sure why ABC would throw that in, seems very misleading. He can own a gun now with a pardon. Im glad he was pardoned though, he seems to have totally turned his life around.
